GBSA / Southside wins big for the Bloor West Dental Group at the 35th Annual Interior Awards in New

Contract Magazine, the largest commercial interiors magazine in the world, honoured 14 winners from nearly 400 entries at their 35th Annual Interiors Awards on January 24, 2014. Southside partners Bruce Stratton and Stephanie Kamburis as well as their client, Dr Carolyn Poon Woo, were in attendance to receive the award for the design of the Bloor West Dental Group located in Toronto. Southside Design was the only firm recognized from Canada which included an international field from the USA, Japan, Belgium, Spain and Austria.

The Jury commented: “This well executed project sets an aspiration. It reflects sensitivity to the overall streetscape by both blending in and standing out quietly. It celebrates the spaces within by creating light filled areas with a sophisticated palette of finishes”

The design team included Bruce Stratton, Stephanie Kamburis and Emira Galeteanu.
