Spadina Branch Library re-opens to rave reviews after being closed for four months for a complete interior renovation.
The Aboriginal-inspired design features reclaimed oak barn boards and a colour palette of rich blue and yellow hues found in Canadian Aboriginal art.
The renovation work includes a new front entry door and glazing assembly, new porcelain and carpet tile flooring, white oak veneered millwork and new shelving and lighting. A new children's area was added.
The branch is known for its large Aboriginal collection.
